NEW EUROPEAN ANIMAL WELFARE STRATEGY 2011-2015 12/01/27

On 19 January the European Commission announced the new European Strategy for Animal Welfare 2011-2015.

This strategy has been adopted as a Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, Council and the Economic and Social Committee.

ANIMAL WELFARE: HELD A WORKSHOP FOR VETERINARIANS 2011/12/23

The past days 1 and 2 December in Barcelona held a workshop on animal welfare for veterinarians.

The workshop was organized by DG SANCO (Directorate General for Health and Consumers of the European Commission) and is the first of its kind to be held in Spain.
